Today I am thirty three and a third. I am a third of a century old. my age represents the most number of threes i will be in my life, unless i make it to 333.33333...
i've been asking everyone today the significance of the number three.
i was told:
three represents the equilateral triangle, which is the most stable structure known in physics.
three is the number of the holy trinity: father, son and holy ghost...and most significantly represents the latter--spirit.
three is the number of initiation; one, two, THREE!
three is best number for a tryst.
three is the number of stooges, although, really, there were more than larry, moe and curly--they were just the original three.
three is asthetically pleasing.
people tend to buy things in threes.
all good things happen in threes.
all bad things happen in threes.
three is a waltz.
three is the number of times a dog turns around before it lays down.
the third song on most albums is often the best song.
the practice of thirds is commonly used in photographic structure.
it's the magic number!
orion's belt is made of three stars.
there are three primary colors (red, blue, and green).
three is the basic number of DNA.
there are three refuges in buddhism, and the buddha experienced 3 physical states
some cultures acknowledge a third gender.
